Alaska LLCs and Alaska corporations cost $250 to file. All domestic Alaska entities must maintain an Alaska registered agent.
You can make these filings for domestic corporations and LLCs and foreign LLCs online, by fax, or by mailing the forms and a check payment to the Alaska Corporation Division at the address listed above. Once registered to do business in Alaska, domestic and foreign LLC’s and corporations are required to file an initial report within 6 months of registration. Then biennial reports are due on January 2nd for corporations and LLCs.
The biennial report can be filed online and costs $100 for domestic corporations and LLCs or $200 for foreign entities. The initial report can be filed online for free.
Online filings are processed immediately. Normal (mailed) filings are processed by the state within 1-2 weeks or the same day if online after they receive them. Foreign corporations cannot file online, but processing can be expedited to within 4 days by paying the $100 expedite fee.
